Terms of use
1. Using the app
By installing or using Namaz First you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.
2. Prayer times and religious content
Prayer times are calculated on your phone from your location, the calculation method and the Asr setting you choose. They are an aid, not a religious ruling. Please confirm times with your local masjid when in doubt. Quran text and translations are from the sources credited in the app (Tanzil and QuranEnc); translations convey meaning and are not the Quran itself.
3. Free and Pro features
Prayer times, the adhan, prayer tracking, the Quran reader and widgets are free. Locking apps at prayer time, the verse before an app opens, and pausing locks are part of Namaz First Pro.
4. Subscriptions
- Pro is sold as a yearly or monthly subscription through Google Play. Prices are shown in the app before you buy.
- An introductory offer may reduce the price of your first year only. After that, the subscription renews at the regular yearly price shown at purchase.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time in Google Play; Pro stays active until the end of the period you paid for.
- Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policy.
5. Access codes
We may give app reviewers and partners an access code that unlocks Pro for a limited time on one phone. Codes are personal, can expire or be revoked, and have no cash value.
6. The app lock
The lock depends on Android permissions that you grant and can remove at any time. Phone calls are never blocked. Some phone makers limit background apps, so the lock may occasionally not appear; the app shows how to fix this. The lock is a tool to help you. It is not a guarantee.
7. Acceptable use
Don't reverse engineer the app to bypass payments, misuse access codes, or use the app in a way that breaks the law or Google Play's policies.
8. Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided "as is". To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for missed prayers, alarms or notifications caused by device settings, battery management or third-party services.
9. Changes
We may update these terms. The date above will change, and continued use means you accept the updated terms.
10. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without affecting any rights you have as a consumer where you live.
